While Mike, MaryAnn and family were visiting us, we took a trip to south Haven to see Lake Michigan.The children thought it was neat to have patches of snow on the beach. It was so cold that I had to use Oscar and Louie for my gloves. We drove to Holland and went into a large store that made wooden shoes. Mike and MaryAnn bought us a pair of small wooden shoes and had Elder Schill and Sister Schill burned into the wood. They will be a wonderful keepsake.
