As many of you heard, Jeff was playing intramural basketball on Friday night and someone elbowed him accidentally during the game and knocked his front tooth out. Luckily only half of the tooth broke, rather than the whole thing. Needless to say we spent our Friday night trying to find a dentist to help us out. We realized that Brother Erickson was a dentist and decided to call him to see if he could take a look. He was so nice to look at Jeff's tooth and he said it would be best to start a root canal that night since the nerve in his tooth was exposed and would have caused a lot of pain throughout the night. So, at 10pm they opened the office and started the root canal and then continued working on it the next morning. It's not completely done yet so Jeff has a temporary crown on his tooth and he will get a permanent crown in a few weeks. He is doing well and isn't in a lot of pain so that is good news. I told him he is banned from ever playing basketball again!

That's right Jeff, no more basketball. Now you should play hockey!

Uncle Jeff, I am wondering if you are coming back to Colorado. How does your tooth feel? Why did they hit you with their elbow? How is Ashley feeling? I like Ashley and you. Do you have a pet?

I agree. No more basketball with the animal crowd. Jeff should only compete in ping pong. Dad
