Yes, those two wood carvings we bought in Oberammergau in 1974. I suppose it's just a butcher and his frau. there is precious little of that culture left in Germany as they march ahead to modernization, but we keep looking for it in the little villages. Right now we are in Poland and it looks like 21st century, not the Poland we saw in 1992.

Nope. He's the man from the carved couple on the mantel in mom & dad's house. Remember him? He's like a butcher or something.
