Linda and Erin Hunt visit Monterey April 2013

It was fun to show Linda and Erin around beautiful Monterey Peninsula. This is the first time they had visited this area.

A sea otter hauled out on a rock.  This behavior is very unusual for an otter. He blended into the rock but Linda was able to spot him. He was just enjoying this sunny spot and after watching him for a while he woke up and slipped back into the water and floated away.

The purple carpet in Pacific Grove is starting to bloom.

Erin came to Monterey to attend an art conference.  She is an amazing artist!

Jellies

Linda and Erin really liked the Jelly display at the aquarium.

Weedy Sea Dragon

Sea Horses

This is a Leafy Sea Dragon and I'm amazed at how it blends into its surroundings!

It was great to learn about sea horses. The male gives birth to babies instead of the mother.

Linda, Erin and Ryan's family spent an evening together at our condo.

A Carmel Cottage

About 700 artists spent the week in Monterey at an art conference.

Gil Dellinger is a local artist who Erin was able to met in a studio in Carmel during the week.

It was neat to see so many artists a long the beach painting.

Loved the pictures mom. It looks like your camera is still working. :) The mother seal teaching her pup to swim was so cute. I bet Linda & Erin had a great time. You & dad are always such good tour guides.
