It has been quite a while since we posted anything from K'Zoo. We have had a lot of activities going on, we will write about several of them. In this first group of pictures you will see our three Iraqi friends who have been attending church and branch activities for about a month. The two guys are doctoral students in math at WMU and have enjoyed coming to our branch. They like to practice their English with everyone. Their names are Satar, Leith, and Ghuda. You can see two of them at the table for our branch St. Patrick's day dinner. The branch served a typical Irish dinner of corned beef and cabbage, along with boiled potatoes and carrots. We then had a lesson on Irish history, a history of Irish music, and then some dancing of Irish jigs. It was a fun evening for FHE on March 17. We had a great turnout. We also had a great dinner at the branch president's house for Easter. You can see a picture of Lieth explaining some things about Iraq with Pres. Johnson and Stephanie listening in. Finally, you can see the great roast chickens that we had for dinner.
