We had a great zone conference meeting where Mom taught all 80 missionaries at the conference a lesson about thriftiness, living on their $148 per month budget, and trying to economize. It went over well, and Dad was the one who wrote all of the missionaries' comments on the board. Also we have a picture with Elder and Sister Porcaro from Orem, who are serving a CES mission in Lansing at MSU. They were at the zone conference and it was good to see them again. At the conference luncheon all of the missionaries form a circle and sing "Called to Serve" to the Reliefe Society sisters who fixed the lunch. Finally, you can see a picture of Lindsey Hale, one of our investigators who comes to institute and to the branch who is getting ready to get baptized. She is going to Egypt as an exchange student next year and mom made her a congratulations cake when she received word that she was accepted.
