Dear Fam,
Another good week in Korea. Last Saturday was a stake sports conference. We had lots of fun with the members and were sore for days after. Brought a college student investigator with us. He enjoyed it. Only met him the day before. He’s really cool, and exceptionally nice. Treated us to chicken at his parents restaurant on Tuesday. He actually went to the missionary english class with his mom 20 years ago when he was 6. His mom remembered it and he looked up our number online and called last Thursday. The "last 10 min of the day miracle kid", ended up not meeting us on Sat. It seems he heard something bad about us. Alex, from our english class is still reading the Book of Mormon and took us out ot dinner 2x’s last week. He has lots of good questions. He’s about 40. I went to a korean nose/allergy doc. near our house on mon. got some antibiotics. Luckily the doc spoke broken english. A long time investigator told us very honestly all his concerns about life but said he doesn’t have the faith that the Book of Mormon can help him.. I felt very sorry for him. He just can’t see outside his little perspective. We know and want to help him. We got a new bishop on Sunday. He was the 2nd cousellor in the stake presidency. Our old bishop is moving. The new one, is one of the closest families to us in the ward. I'm excited to work with him. We couldn’t understand but 30-40% of the old bishop’s korean. I will do dad’s challenge. It is something I’ve been trying to do but I really need to emphazie it more. Mom, thanks for the letter. Lincoln’s example is very noble. Courts grad sounds fun. Thanks for all the posting work. I know it’s a pain.
I love u all.
Elder Britsch
