Letter from Elder Britsch June 17th 2009

Dear Fam,
Sounds like you've had a good week. Dad's hole in one is amazing, he should be in the PGA. I'm sorry you've been sick. I'm glad Hunter's pig flu as they call it here is not serious. I'm glad u got the pics. Let me know if you have ques about what is what. I had my followup appoint at the doc. - its all western med btw. I'm feeling a bit better. The doc. actually told us that he was so impressed by our manners and behavior last time that he went home and told his kids (same age as me and younger) that he was sorry that he had not raised them better. He said manners has always been an asian focus but it is being lost with this generation. He told us to thank our parents. So thanks mom and dad. Though he doesn't go to church, he said that we are what missionaries should be. He said it is not your bible knowledge that impresses people but your actions and first impression. He said in those areas we are perfect. He said to call him anytime if i need anything medically or have korean ques questions. We didn't push the gospel with him but might be able to in the future. Maybe all this allergy madness has a purpose afterall. Our actions are more noticed then we realize. I didn't think we did anything special but I guess we left an impression on him. I pray he realizes it is our parents and our beliefs that make us this way. We ran into missionaries from other churches while knocking and on the street this week. One told us that Jesus doesn't love us, jw's or buddhists and told us to go to his big church with the red neon cross (most of the korean churches have this on top, lit at night) because it was started by the cities first missionaries. We said Jesus loves everyone and said goodbye. "killem with kindness". It made me realize how true our message is and gave me an added uph to share it with others. I testify that Jesus loves all people. Whether they believe in him or buddha, He still loves them. Some boring stuff - I might need to update our mission offices info about our family insurance if it has changed since dads new job. Please let me know the new info or email them if tha's allowed. Tranfer calls are on sat. I dont know what will happen.
